Samsung Galaxy Buds On Clip-On Earbuds Launch in South Korea
Samsung's first clip-on earbuds, the Galaxy Buds On, go on sale in South Korea on October 27 for 299,000 won, with European listings hinting at a wider rollout.

Samsung's Galaxy Buds On, the company's first clip-on earbuds, go on sale in South Korea on October 27. They cost 299,000 won, roughly $226, and European retail listings suggest a global launch may not be far behind.
Samsung quietly introduced the earbuds earlier this month. They use an open-ear design, so wearers can listen to music or podcasts while still hearing traffic, colleagues or other sounds around them. Instead of sitting in the ear canal, the buds clip around the ear using a flexible material meant to keep them comfortable and secure.
Features and pricing
The Galaxy Buds On include TwinBoost speakers for stronger bass, along with technology to reduce sound leakage. Galaxy AI features are part of the package too. With a compatible Galaxy device, users can answer calls with a nod or record a voice memo without taking out their phone.
In South Korea, the earbuds will be sold in black through Samsung's website and retail stores. Customers who buy them by November 30 will receive two 30% discount coupons for Galaxy Buds accessories, which can be redeemed until December 20.
International availability
Samsung has not confirmed when or where the Galaxy Buds On will launch outside its home market. However, the earbuds have already appeared on European retail websites. Swiss listings show prices between CHF 179 (about $216) and CHF 199 (about $241).
Retailer listings are not official confirmation, and launch dates can change. Still, they point to a wider release being prepared.
The product matters because it marks a new direction for Samsung's audio lineup. Many people, particularly when exercising or commuting, prefer not to block out their surroundings. If Samsung delivers on comfort and sound quality, the Galaxy Buds On could offer a real alternative to conventional in-ear wireless earbuds. For now, buyers outside South Korea are waiting for an official announcement.
