Msheireb Properties and Inc. Arabia have announced the speaker lineup for the second Downtown Tech Summit, which takes place on November 17, 2026, at Barahat Msheireb in Msheireb Downtown Doha.

Headline speakers are Hamad Al Hajri, founder and CEO of Snoonu, and Fadi Ghandour, Executive Chairman of Wamda Capital. They will be joined by Khaled Talhouni, Managing Partner at Nuwa Capital; Soumaya Ben Beya Dridje, Partner at Rasmal Ventures; and Dr. Ammar Alali, founder and CEO of Strataphy.

Agenda and format

The summit runs from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM and combines keynotes, panel discussions and fireside chats. Organisers say the topics include how regional tech ecosystems can scale companies to compete globally, how to turn market disruption into growth, and how emerging technology can deliver practical business impact.

The event will also host the live pitch finale of the Azal Innovation Programme, launched by Doha Design District, part of Msheireb Properties. Shortlisted innovators and entrepreneurs will pitch directly to investors and industry experts. Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) and Siemens are among the entities supporting the summit.

Best in Business Awards Qatar

The summit comes a day before the gala ceremony for the inaugural Qatar edition of the Best in Business Awards on November 18, also at Barahat Msheireb. The awards have passed 180 nominations, and organisers have extended the submission deadline to November 4, 2026.

Noora Al Qubaisi, Acting Director of Corporate Communication at Msheireb Properties, said the access to founders and investors who have built and scaled landmark regional companies reflects a private sector that is "confident, resilient, and expanding." Anas Abbar, co-founder and Group CEO of 7awi Media Group, the house behind Inc. Arabia, said the nomination count shows the ambition and maturity of Qatar's business ecosystem.

Registration to attend the summit is now open.
