Hakim Benotmane, an investor and influencer who appeared on M6's "Patron incognito" and is now on the blacklist of France's financial markets authority (AMF), has filed a new criminal complaint in Paris. It covers "incitement to suicide", pack cyberharassment and breach of privacy, and targets among others Anthony Bourbon, founder of the Blast investment club, and the Aide aux victimes d'influenceurs (AVI) collective.

A feud that began online

The conflict dates back to autumn 2025, when Bourbon, known from "Qui veut être mon associé ?", warned his followers against a "resident mythomaniac who sold his company for 100 million" euros. Benotmane, founder of the Nabab Kebab restaurant chain, says he received that sum from selling the franchise. The social media clash quickly turned into a legal battle with complaints on both sides.

Benotmane's lawyer, Tristan Simon, says the new complaint aims to identify who is individually responsible for the hateful and threatening messages his client received. Bourbon's lawyer, Romain Verzeni, replied that his client has lost interest in Benotmane and is letting the proceedings run their course. He argued that the complaints from members of Benotmane's investor club Hakisition and the AMF blacklisting confirm the original warning was necessary.

Competing proceedings

In April, AVI filed a collective complaint in Paris on behalf of about sixty Hakisition members, alleging fraud, deception and breach of trust. Benotmane's side now accuses AVI of misusing the member file to solicit complainants illegally. AVI rejects the accusations as a smokescreen. Hakisition says it asked the AMF for its reasons for the listing and received no answer. Benotmane is also subject to a management ban in France under a 2023 court ruling.

The Bourbon camp has its own actions. A December 2025 complaint targets Benotmane and anonymous account holders over an alleged cyberharassment plan, and this summer the Paris court ordered Meta and Google to hand over identification data for those accounts. According to a source close to the case, Bourbon has also summoned Benotmane before the Paris commercial court for misleading commercial practice, over a post presenting Hakisition as the top francophone investor club ahead of Blast, and seeks more than 1.5 million euros. Hakisition's head, Laetitia Rebouh, says it will defend itself.
