AIM Intelligence Takes Runner-Up at Singapore's SLINGSHOT 2026
South Korean AI security startup AIM Intelligence placed second overall at Singapore's SLINGSHOT 2026, winning three awards and S$430,000 in prize money.

AIM Intelligence, an AI security startup, finished second overall at SLINGSHOT 2026, the deep tech startup competition run by the Singapore government. The event drew 5,100 applicants from 148 countries across AI, quantum computing, advanced manufacturing and biotech.
At the event, held at Marina Bay Sands from the 27th to the 29th of last month, the company won three awards: second place overall, first place in the Advanced Computing and Intelligence category, and the NVIDIA Inception Grand Challenge 2026. Total prize money came to S$430,000 (about 450 million Korean won). The overall winner was Miraqules, an Indian hemostatic materials company.
Controlling what AI does, not just what it says
SLINGSHOT is organized by Enterprise Singapore, an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and is now in its tenth year. It runs during the SWITCH innovation week, with total prizes and grants above S$2.2 million. Representatives of NVIDIA and Samsung Venture Investment were among the judges.
Co-founder and CTO Ha-eon Park gave the final pitch. He argued that chatbot-era AI security focused on keeping harmful content out of answers, but that the scope has widened now that AI agents access corporate data and run systems, so security must cover what the AI actually does.
The company's answer is AIM Control Loop, which combines two products. Stinger, a red-teaming platform, attacks AI systems the way an adversary would to find vulnerabilities. Starfort, a guardrail, filters risky requests and actions while the AI is running. The presentation also covered a guardrail applied to a humanoid robot, vulnerability research on physical AI such as self-driving cars and drones, and a collaboration linking Stinger with OpenAI's Daybreak.
Next steps
The win adds to earlier results: first place at the Supernova Challenge 2.0 alongside GITEX Global in Dubai last October, and a spot among the top 10 Asia-Pacific companies in the NVIDIA Inception Grand Challenge this September.
AIM Intelligence plans to build a local team in Singapore and expand partnerships with companies and institutions there, while pushing commercialization of its enterprise AI agent control product and its physical AI security technology for robots and autonomous systems. "In an era when AI runs corporate systems and moves robots, technology that verifies and controls its decisions and actions is essential," Park said.
