Votour V5 crossover enters production at former Hyundai plant
Production of the Votour V5 crossover has begun at the former Hyundai plant in Sestroretsk, St. Petersburg. Sales in Russia are planned for November 2026.

Production of the Votour V5 crossover has started at the former Hyundai plant in Sestroretsk, St. Petersburg, according to the press service of the AGR holding. The car is built on a full-cycle basis, and the company plans to open sales in Russia in November 2026.
Same site as the Tenet Plus L4
The V5 is made at the same AGR facility that builds the Tenet Plus L4. Until 2022, the site assembled Kia and Hyundai vehicles. In the first half of 2026 the plant was modernized to handle new models.
The welding and paint shops now employ 229 robots. The assembly line uses AGVs, or automated guided vehicles: driverless platforms that move parts and components between production areas along set routes. Robotic systems are also part of the line.
A rebadged Chinese crossover
Design features of the Votour V5 include a large radiator grille, slim daytime running lights, two-tier headlights, 19-inch wheels, a sloping roof and flush door handles. Outwardly, the model is a reworked version of the Chinese Jetour Dashing.
Technical specifications, trim levels and prices have not been disclosed yet. The manufacturer says it will reveal them later.
The brand also intends to widen its lineup with more capable off-road crossovers and premium SUVs. For buyers in Russia, the V5 is the next model to come from a plant that once served Korean brands, and its price and equipment will decide how it competes once sales open this month.
