Tallia raises €4 million Seed to bring AI research to tax firms
London-based Tallia, formerly Revax, has secured €4 million ($4.5 million) in Seed funding to expand its AI research and drafting platform for tax and accountancy professionals.
London-based AI startup Tallia, formerly known as Revax, has raised €4 million ($4.5 million) in Seed funding. The company will use the money to expand its AI-powered research and drafting platform for tax and accountancy professionals.
The round was co-led by Outward VC and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Portfolio Ventures and Expedite Capital also took part, along with other investors.
What Tallia does
Tallia builds software that helps tax and accountancy teams with research and with reviewing and drafting work. The platform targets professional firms whose staff spend significant time on technical research and written advice.
The company was previously known as Revax and now operates under the Tallia name.
Why it matters
The involvement of the ICAEW, a major professional body for accountants in England and Wales, as co-lead is a notable signal for a young company selling to a profession that places a high value on accuracy and accountability. AI tools for professional services are drawing growing investor interest, and tax is one of the areas where specialist products are emerging.
Further details on the funding, such as how the capital will be allocated or customer numbers, were not part of the announcement summary.
