Raven Prism: Linux-Based AI Glasses Head to Market at a Luxury Price
US startup Raven Resonance is preparing the launch of Prism, standalone Linux-based AI smart glasses, and has now named pricing and availability.

US startup Raven Resonance is preparing to bring its Prism smart glasses to market. The company has now announced pricing and availability, and the device is positioned firmly in the luxury segment.
Prism is built as a standalone product: the glasses run on their own, without needing to be tethered to a smartphone. They use Linux as their operating system and put AI features at the center of the experience.
Why it matters
Most smart glasses on the market depend on a companion phone and a closed software platform. A self-contained device built on Linux takes a different route, and it will be interesting to see whether buyers accept a premium price for that approach.
Raven Resonance is a young company and Prism is its first product to reach customers, so the launch also serves as a test of whether a startup can compete with established hardware makers in a still-emerging category.
Further details on specifications and the exact rollout are expected to follow as sales begin.
