Saudi Arabia-based eventtech startup INVE has raised $300,000 in a pre-seed round from Outliers VC, the venture firm that had previously been its first paid business design partner.

Founded in 2024 by Abdulrahman Alabdulkarim, INVE offers a digital event management platform for individuals and companies. Its tools cover personalised invitations, RSVP management, guest profiles, branded registration pages and digital entry passes. The money will go toward hiring, brand development and customer acquisition.

From a family wedding to 250 events

Alabdulkarim, now 23, built the first version of INVE to simplify invitations and RSVPs for his sister's wedding. That project grew into a consumer product that has supported 250 events in more than 60 cities and towns across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. It has sent over 35,000 invitations and recorded an 88% RSVP response rate.

The business platform launched in August 2026. It targets a common problem: guest information scattered across spreadsheets, inboxes and WhatsApp chats, and often lost when planning begins for the next event. INVE keeps a living profile for each guest, which fills in automatically as they engage and can hold details such as dietary preferences, interests and attendance history.

Hosts can use those profiles to personalise invitations sent from their own email addresses and company WhatsApp numbers, without rebuilding guest lists. RSVP pages, registration pages and entry passes carry the host's branding. The platform is aimed at companies that treat events as part of their brand, including technology firms, venture investors, financial services businesses and the agencies that host for them.

Investor already a customer

Outliers, an operator-led firm backing early-stage founders, has used INVE to manage invitations and guest communications under its own brand, including for its upcoming Builder Summit. Sarah AlSaleh, General Partner at Outliers VC, said that working together gave the firm conviction in both the product and the founder's ability to execute.

The self-service product is available internationally, but near-term customer acquisition focuses on Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Longer term, INVE plans to build a business customer base in North Africa, other African markets and Europe. Alabdulkarim, who previously worked on backend and infrastructure systems at Lean Technologies, says the aim is for INVE to become the infrastructure behind how people and businesses host across the Gulf.
