Gdańsk Bay Tech opens One Stop Shop for startups and investors
Gdańsk Bay Tech opened a physical One Stop Shop at the STARTER hub, giving Pomeranian startups, investors and industry a single first point of contact.

Gdańsk Bay Tech has officially opened its physical One Stop Shop at the STARTER hub, at ul. Lęborska 3B in Gdańsk. The launch took place on 29 October during Gdańsk Bay Tech Access Day, which brought together founders, investors, industry representatives and international innovation ecosystems.
The event also included the signing of a cooperation declaration between the Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Foundation and the Gdańsk–Gdynia–Sopot Metropolitan Area.
How the One Stop Shop works
The One Stop Shop is a first point of contact for startups, companies, investors and researchers. Wojciech Sacha described it not as another directory of institutions but as a process built around a specific need. Requests can arrive through a form, e-mail, phone or in person, followed by a short diagnostic conversation that establishes the goal, development stage and main barriers.
Based on that, the team picks one main support path and, if needed, up to two additional ones. That could mean connecting a startup with an industrial client, investor, expert, university, laboratory or program. Direct introductions are preferred over handing out contact details, and the process includes checking whether the contact led to a next step. The service was previously available online; the new space adds a place for meetings and consultations.
A growing regional initiative
Gdańsk Bay Tech was launched in May 2026 at Infoshare and has since gathered around 370 people and 150 organizations. Work is split across five groups, covering startup development, international cooperation, community building and regional innovation data. Projects include the Future Founders program, initiatives to improve access to capital, international missions and a map of the Pomeranian tech ecosystem, which has so far identified 90 startups under the EU definition.
The program also featured panels with founders from PayMove, AgentX and Vidoc Security Lab, who stressed that good technology is not enough unless it solves a real customer problem. AFleet, which develops unmanned maritime vessels, presented its path from tests in 2023–2024 to a 2026 collaboration with MEWO. In a reverse pitch, representatives of ORLEN Skylight Accelerator and Base Group described their technology needs, while investors from SMOK Ventures, VO₂ Ventures, Movens Capital and FNP Ventures discussed how they assess projects.
In the longer term, the initiative aims to expand the regional pool of startup talent and help build companies able to raise capital and compete internationally.
