Apple: Over 100,000 Apps Already Built for iPhone Duo
Two weeks after launch, Apple says well over 100,000 App Store apps are designed for iPhone Duo, with thousands of optimized apps added every day.

Apple says more than 100,000 apps on the App Store are already built for the iPhone Duo, just two weeks after the foldable went on sale. The company says thousands of optimized apps are being added every day.
Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, described the pace in a statement. "Today there are well over 100,000 apps built for iPhone Duo already live on the App Store," she said, adding that developers have embraced the device quickly.
Workshops and App Store promotion
Apple is backing the effort with in-person events. According to the company, more than 2,000 developers have attended over 50 workshops in 19 cities worldwide, where they could try iPhone Duo firsthand and update their apps. Prescott said Apple expects the pace of updates to keep accelerating as more apps are optimized.
On the App Store, Apple is highlighting compatible software through editorial collections such as "Popular Apps on iPhone Duo" and "Great Games on iPhone Duo." A "Made for iPhone Duo" badge also appears on the product pages of apps optimized for the foldable.
Which apps are ready
Recent apps optimized for the device include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, Etsy and Halide Mark III.
The update matters for buyers because the experience differs sharply between apps that have been adapted and those that have not, a gap that was visible in early hands-on reviews of the device. Apps that supported iPhone Duo at launch have also continued to receive follow-up updates that improve how they use the inner and outer displays.
With the catalog growing daily, the next measure will be how quickly the most-used apps catch up and how well they handle both screens.
