Allegro Smart at 59.90 zł a year: is the free shipping worth it?
Allegro Smart costs 59.90 zł a year and promises savings on delivery and returns, but free shipping requires at least 49.90 zł spent with a single seller.

Allegro Smart, the subscription programme of Poland's biggest online marketplace, now costs 59.90 zł per year. In return, it is meant to cut the cost of deliveries and returns for regular shoppers. The platform's own savings counter credited one user with around 1,700 zł saved, yet that headline figure comes with a catch.
The 49.90 zł condition
Free shipping under Allegro Smart is not unconditional. To qualify, an order must reach at least 49.90 zł with one seller. That detail matters on a marketplace where a basket is often assembled from many different merchants.
In practice, a shopper who buys several small items from different sellers may find that none of the individual orders crosses the threshold. The delivery fees then return, even though the subscription has already been paid for. The same applies to anyone who tends to buy a single cheap accessory from a given shop.
What this means for buyers
The annual fee is low, so the programme can pay for itself quickly for people who order often and plan purchases around the 49.90 zł limit per seller. For them, the savings shown by Allegro may be realistic.
For occasional shoppers, the calculation is less clear. A savings figure generated by the platform counts what Allegro considers saved, not necessarily what the buyer would have spent otherwise, since many people would have consolidated orders or chosen another delivery option anyway.
Before renewing, it makes sense to check your own order history: how many purchases exceeded 49.90 zł with one seller, and how many delivery fees you still paid. If most orders qualify, the 59.90 zł subscription is hard to argue with. If not, the headline savings may overstate the real benefit.
