Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) is accepting applications for the last Tech Istanbul Pre-Incubation call of 2026. Applications close on 12 November, giving technology-focused founders a final chance this year to join the municipality's award-winning entrepreneurship brand.

The program is aimed at startups building technology-based solutions across different sectors that want to grow and turn their idea into a scalable business model. According to the organizers, the goal is to help teams develop their products, strengthen their business models and speed up sustainable growth.

What accepted startups receive

Startups admitted to the program can use a broad package of support. It includes entrepreneurship training, work with expert mentors, meetings with investors, business development opportunities, corporate and public-sector collaborations, and free central co-working space.

Tech Istanbul says it brings training, mentoring, business development, investor access and partnership opportunities together in a single ecosystem, backed by the municipality.

Track record

The figures shared for the program give a sense of its scale. Tech Istanbul entrepreneurship programs have received more than 5,600 applications to date. The 863 startup teams supported so far have raised a combined 128 million dollars in investment and reached 5.1 billion Turkish lira in revenue.

For founders who want to strengthen a product or prepare a young company for its next stage, the call is open to any technology-based startup. Those interested need to submit their application before the 12 November deadline, as this is the final pre-incubation round of the year.
