Scoutyn adds Tendencias, a market data hub for Spain's tech scene
Scoutyn, the market intelligence platform tracking tech firms in Spain and Portugal, has added Tendencias, a section with aggregated data on Spanish tech companies.

Scoutyn, a market intelligence platform that monitors technology companies in Spain and Portugal, has added a section called Tendencias. It lets users explore aggregated data on Spanish tech firms, on top of the individual company profiles the tool already offered. The platform is aimed at investors, corporations, institutions and other players in the ecosystem.
Eight blocks of data
Tendencias is organised into eight blocks: gender gap, tech companies, startups, scaleups, spinoffs, sectors and technology, life, and autonomous communities. Users can check indicators such as the number of companies, the jobs they create and their revenue, and see how company creation has evolved over the years.
Startups, scaleups and spinoffs can be analysed separately: where they are based, which sectors concentrate the most activity and how their founding teams are made up. A territorial view lets users compare ecosystems by autonomous community and town, looking at business fabric, employment and revenue.
The same data feeds the National Report on Tech and Innovative Companies 2026, which examines the size, evolution and main traits of the sector in Spain.
Search, alerts and outreach
Beyond aggregate analysis, a search engine combines variables such as sector, location, founding year, company type, revenue and headcount. Searches can be saved to receive weekly alerts about new companies matching the criteria and updates on those already identified.
The Startups section lists newly added companies and helps locate firms with an open funding round, scaleups and startups that recently closed financing. Users can also save favourites to follow their progress. The platform includes an investor search with details on activity and areas of interest, plus a section for companies that have ceased operations.
A feature called Retos is meant for organisations that want to reach tech companies to promote an initiative or find specific profiles. Users filter the target companies and review recipients before sending. Messages go by email to founders who have previously given consent.
With these tools, Scoutyn brings company search and monitoring together with ecosystem trend analysis on one platform. Demo requests are available through scoutyn.es.
