South Korean security-as-a-service (SECaaS) provider MONITORAPP has released version 6.0 of AILabs, its AI-based threat intelligence platform. The company announced the launch on November 4.

According to the company, the update focuses on faster analysis, stronger threat response and better practical usability, with AI applied across the whole threat intelligence workflow.

What is new in v6.0

Two features are new: Pivot Search, which visualizes relationships between threats, and AI Bot, a conversational search function. Together, they are meant to help security staff understand threat information faster and more intuitively, letting them query data in natural dialogue rather than manual lookups.

MONITORAPP also upgraded MAD, its malicious file analysis engine, and MUD, its URL analysis engine. Detected threats are now mapped automatically to the MITRE ATT&CK framework, the global standard for describing adversary behavior. That lets analysts see attacker tactics and techniques systematically and respond more efficiently.

The platform regularly delivers threat intelligence tailored to key sectors, including public institutions, finance and healthcare. Users can search indicators of compromise (IoC), Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) entries, attack techniques and threat groups from a single input field.

Background

AILabs analyzes malicious files, URLs and other cyber threat data across multiple dimensions through a repeating cycle of collection, analysis, processing and distribution, then shares the refined results in real time. It integrates with the Korea Internet & Security Agency's threat-sharing system C-TAS and with Google's VirusTotal.

MONITORAPP has been expanding its threat intelligence business around the platform. In May, it replaced its monthly web attack trend report with an AILabs Threat Intelligence Report covering attack volume trends, threat patterns by industry, vulnerabilities, malware and attack groups.
