Revolut's valuation has climbed to $115 billion in a secondary share sale, up 53% from $75 billion a year ago, as the fintech expands its banking footprint.

Fintech company Revolut has reached a valuation of $115 billion following a new secondary share sale. In the previous sale in November 2025, the company was valued at $75 billion, meaning its value has risen about 53% in roughly a year.

The deal was led by Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, T. Rowe Price Associates and Baillie Gifford. It is not a primary funding round: existing shares changed hands between investors, so no new capital flowed into Revolut. The company did not disclose the total value of the shares sold. According to Dealroom data, shares traded at around $2,118 each. For a company that is still private, such sales give employees and existing investors liquidity and reset its market value.

Growth in banking and earnings

Founded in 2015 by Nik Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko, Revolut began as a money transfer app and has grown into a broad financial services platform. It now serves more than 80 million retail customers in over 40 countries. In 2026 it launched banking operations in the UK, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand, and obtained banking licenses in France, Colombia and Argentina.

Revolut also received conditional approval from the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to set up a national bank. If it secures the remaining final regulatory approvals, it plans to launch the US bank in the first half of 2027.

Financial results support the rise. In 2025, revenue grew 46% to $6 billion, while pre-tax profit increased 57% to $2.3 billion, a 38% pre-tax margin. Revolut Business accounts for roughly 20% of gross profit and serves more than 800,000 businesses, with a target of 1 million by 2027.

IPO outlook

The higher valuation revives talk of a public listing. CEO Nik Storonsky has previously weighed a dual listing in New York and London and signaled a preference for the US as the primary venue. An IPO is not expected before 2028, however.

At $115 billion, Revolut ranks among Europe's most valuable private technology and fintech companies, and its focus is shifting from an app-centered fintech model toward a full-service global bank.
