Motorola Global Connect launches in Poland with eSIM data
Motorola has launched Global Connect in Poland, an eSIM service that sells prepaid mobile data for trips abroad in more than 160 countries, without swapping your SIM.

Motorola has made Global Connect available in Poland. The service lets owners of compatible Motorola phones buy mobile data for foreign trips without changing their SIM card. It relies on eSIM technology and covers more than 160 countries.
How it works
Global Connect was built with the company Gigs and runs through a dedicated app. Users pick a destination, compare the available data plans and prices, then buy and activate a package in the same place.
The service adds a separate eSIM profile used for data only. Travellers keep their existing phone number and physical SIM, which can still handle calls and text messages under the terms of their home operator's contract. There is no long-term commitment: plans are prepaid and the price is shown before purchase.
Data is delivered through partner mobile networks, and 5G is available in supported locations. Actual performance depends on the country, the local network and its coverage. The same eSIM profile can be reused on later trips, so there is no need to install a new one at every border, which should help people visiting several countries in one journey.
Availability and limits
Motorola says it is extending the service to more European markets. Supported regions include South-Eastern Europe, the Nordic countries, Benelux and the Iberian Peninsula.
The app can be downloaded from Google Play, but installing it does not guarantee access. A compatible Motorola smartphone with eSIM support is required.
Before travelling, it is worth checking in the app whether a destination is covered, which plans are offered and what they cost. That comparison will show whether Global Connect beats roaming from your home operator or buying a local SIM card. The service provides data only and does not replace a phone number.
