Moskvich Plans Hybrid and AWD M70 Versions for 2027 Lineup
Moskvich will widen its model range in 2027 with hybrid and all-wheel-drive versions of the M70 crossover, new models and a refreshed Moskvich 3.

Russian carmaker Moskvich plans to expand its model range in 2027, adding new cars as well as extra versions of models it has already presented, the company's press office said.
M70 gets new variants
The company intends to broaden its M-series with modifications of existing vehicles. In particular, it plans to release hybrid and all-wheel-drive versions of the M70 crossover. Moskvich also intends to add entirely new models to its lineup, but it has not yet disclosed any details about them.
Moskvich 3 stays central
Affordable cars will remain an important part of the brand's strategy. The key model in that segment is still the Moskvich 3, which is due to receive a refreshed exterior and interior. The manufacturer also wants to raise the car's localization level, meaning the share of components made in Russia.
Owners are already positive
The plans come as the brand scores well in owner sentiment. A recent survey by the agency Autostat asked owners which brands they consider dream cars. Eight Chinese brands and two Russian ones, Tenet and Moskvich, made up the top ten.
Among Moskvich owners, 57.3% answered positively. That is the fourth-best result, behind Tenet and Li Auto, which both reached 62.7%, and Omoda at 59.1%.
For buyers, the announcement points to more powertrain choice in the M70 range and a refreshed budget option. Specifications, pricing and launch dates for the new versions and models have not been announced.
