Adtech startup Journify has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Al Mada Ventures, valuing the company at four times its previous level. Existing investor Silicon Badia co-led the round, while Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their stakes and Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new backers.

The company will use the money to enter the US and European markets and to extend the AI that powers its platform. Journify was founded in 2022 by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki. It is headquartered in San Francisco, with regional offices in Dubai and Riyadh.

Feeding ad platforms real sales data

Journify builds what it calls ad signal infrastructure. It makes sure platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads see the purchases, sign-ups and store sales that a brand's customers actually make. Browser restrictions, broken tracking and disconnected offline sales often leave those algorithms with an incomplete picture.

The issue is growing in importance. According to dentsu, global ad spend will exceed $1 trillion in 2026, and algorithms are expected to place three-quarters of it by 2028.

More than 100 businesses use Journify, representing hundreds of millions of dollars in annual ad spend. Saudi retailer Jarir Bookstore increased its return on ad spend by 182%, while Baytonia grew its return on ad spend by 80% and cut cost per purchase by 44%. Silicon Badia says Journify's revenue has grown more than fivefold since its initial investment.

Expansion and AI

Journify already uses AI to monitor every connection, detect signal-quality problems and fix them. The new funding will expand those capabilities as it moves beyond the GCC. US digital advertising revenue reached $294.6 billion in 2025, according to IAB and PwC.

"Our vision is to close that gap, turning real customer outcomes into intelligence ad platforms can learn from," said CEO Taoufik El Jamali. Ryan Burke, a three-time Chief Revenue Officer, has joined the board to help with US growth.
