GIVA Raises Over $100 Million in Round Led by Multiples PE

Fine jewellery brand GIVA has secured a funding round of more than $100 million led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management and its co-investors.

Fine jewellery brand GIVA has raised more than $100 million in a funding round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management, together with its co-investors.

According to the company's press release, the capital will go toward expanding its retail network, strengthening manufacturing capabilities and scaling its omnichannel presence.

Push to 1,000 stores

GIVA plans to grow its retail footprint to more than 1,000 outlets over the next three to five years. The brand is betting on a mix of physical stores and online channels to reach customers in a market where jewellery purchases still depend heavily on in-person trust.

The company also raised $28 million in debt in May this year. That amount could be part of the current round, though the details of how the two are linked were not clarified.

Background

GIVA was founded in 2019 by Ishendra Agarwal and sells fine jewellery. The new round marks a significant step up in funding for the brand as it moves from an online-first start toward a broader omnichannel model.

For the sector, the deal shows continued investor appetite for branded jewellery players that combine design, in-house production and a growing store presence. The next milestones to watch will be the pace of store openings and how the new capital is used to build out manufacturing capacity.
