Easol raises €26.78M Series A extension, launches AI agents
London-based Easol has closed a €26.78 million ($30 million) Series A extension led by Y Combinator and is rolling out AI agents for experience businesses.
London-based experience commerce platform Easol has closed a Series A extension worth €26.78 million ($30 million), lifting its total funding to date to €53.57 million ($60 million).
The round combines €17.85 million ($20 million) in equity with an €8.92 million ($10 million) debt facility. The equity portion was led by Y Combinator, with other investors also taking part.
AI agents for experience businesses
Alongside the funding, Easol is launching AI agents aimed at experience businesses, the operators of activities, events, retreats and similar offerings that its platform serves. Details on the specific functions of the agents were not part of the information available at the time of writing.
Why it matters
The deal pairs fresh equity with debt, giving Easol additional room to invest in product development as it adds AI features to its commerce tools. Y Combinator leading the equity portion is a notable signal for a European company at this stage, and the combined funding doubles down on the experience economy as a software category.
For operators in the sector, the launch points to a growing trend: software vendors are moving from simple booking and payment tools toward AI agents that can take over routine operational work. How far Easol's agents go in practice will become clearer as customers begin using them.
The company has not been quoted here on specific hiring or expansion plans, and further product details are expected to follow as the agents roll out.
