Cosmoserve Space Raises $6 Million Seed Round in Hyderabad

Hyderabad-based spacetech startup Cosmoserve Space has secured $6 million in seed funding, lifting its total capital raised to more than $9 million.

Hyderabad-based spacetech startup Cosmoserve Space has raised $6 million in a seed funding round. Investors include Japan-based Rebright Partners, Aranya Holdings and Naandi Ventures, along with existing backers AUM Ventures and Shakti VC.

The new round takes the company's total funding to more than $9 million.

Earlier funding and plans

In September last year, Cosmoserve raised $3.17 million in an oversubscribed pre-seed round led by Alan Rutledge. AUM Ventures and Shakti VC also took part in that round.

According to the company's press release, the fresh capital will go toward developing Base 1, running technology demonstrations and preparing two upcoming missions. The company did not provide further details in the material available.

The round shows continued investor interest in Indian space startups, with this deal bringing in a Japanese investor alongside Indian funds. Existing investors returning for a second round also signals ongoing confidence in the company's direction.
