Bleu Robotics raises €5M to speed up humanoid robot training

Paris-based Bleu Robotics has closed a €5 million pre-Seed round to build AI models that cut humanoid robot deployment in factories to an hour or less.

Bleu Robotics, a Paris-based startup developing AI models for industrial humanoid robots, has raised a €5 million pre-Seed round. The company says the money will help it reach its goal of shrinking the entire humanoid deployment process to one hour or less.

The round was co-led by Contrarian Ventures and OVNI Capital. Kvanted, WEPA Ventures and Motier Ventures also took part, alongside other investors.

Fewer demonstrations, faster rollout

The startup's focus is teaching humanoid robots new tasks with fewer demonstrations. Today, getting a humanoid robot to perform a new job in an industrial setting can be slow and labour-intensive, which is one of the obstacles to wider adoption. Bleu Robotics aims to compress that effort so a robot can be put to work in roughly an hour.

Why it matters

Humanoid robots have attracted considerable attention as potential workers in factories and warehouses, but deployment time and cost remain central questions for manufacturers. A software layer that lets robots learn quickly from limited examples could make them practical for more companies, particularly those running varied or changing tasks.

The funding underlines continued investor interest in robotics AI in Europe, with France positioning itself as a hub for the field. Further details on the company's product roadmap, customers and hiring plans were not part of the announcement.
