Yandex and Bork launch Station Bork smart speaker for 78,000 rubles
Yandex and Bork have released Station Bork, a smart speaker with a five-inch touchscreen, eight speakers totaling 75 W and a Zigbee and Matter smart home hub.

Yandex, together with the appliance maker Bork, has released Station Bork, a smart speaker positioned as the most powerful-sounding and most technologically advanced model in the Station lineup. It costs 78,000 rubles.
The front panel carries a five-inch touchscreen used to control the device and its built-in Alice assistant. Users can pick digital or analog clocks, adjust the digit style and background animation, and add widgets for weather, readings from the built-in temperature and humidity sensors, alarms, timers and reminders. The display can also switch smart home devices on and off.
Sound and controls
The speaker houses eight drivers with a combined output of 75 W: two low-frequency, three mid-range and three high-frequency units. For comparison, Station Max delivers 65 W. An aluminium ring on top controls the volume. In vinyl mode it also scrubs through tracks, producing sounds similar to moving a record on a turntable. A remote control is supported as well.
Smart home and voice
Station Bork can be connected to a TV and used as a soundbar, and it doubles as a smart home hub with support for Zigbee and Matter over Wi-Fi. A built-in neural processor recognizes the intent behind a command rather than memorized phrases, so "minimum volume", "make it quieter" or "volume at five" all work as expected.
The speaker is sold in Bork boutiques, on the manufacturer's website and in the official Alice store. It comes in light blue and dark blue; the dark blue version will go on sale later.
