theQA raises $550,000 to scale AI consumer research in Kuwait
Kuwaiti startup theQA has closed a pre-seed round of more than $550,000 to expand its AI-assisted consumer research platform, which now counts over 20,000 verified panelists.

Kuwait-based startup theQA has raised more than $550,000 in a pre-seed round backed by a Kuwaiti family office and strategic angel investors. The company, which describes itself as Kuwait's first AI-powered consumer research platform, will use the money to scale its operations in the country.
Founded in 2025 by Ahmad Al Ebrahim and Hussain Ali AlNashaba, theQA lets businesses, agencies and researchers build surveys, target relevant audiences in Kuwait and collect consumer feedback. Its AI-assisted survey builder and workflows turn research briefs into questionnaires, supporting studies on consumer preferences, brand perceptions and new product concepts.
Growth since launch
The platform went live in April 2025 and has since built a panel of more than 20,000 verified members. According to the company, revenue has grown in every quarter of 2026 and has almost doubled since January.
The new funding will go toward expanding operations in Kuwait, developing AI-powered research tools and improving the platform's consumer insights and data analysis capabilities.
What the founders say
"We started theQA with a simple goal: to make it easier for businesses to understand the people they serve," said Ahmad Al-Ebrahim, co-founder and CEO. He noted that consumer research has traditionally demanded significant time, effort and resources, and said reaching 20,000 participants in a short period reinforced the need for the platform.
Co-founder and CTO Hussain Al-Nashabah said the team is focused on simplifying the whole research process, from asking the right questions to reaching the right people and understanding results. He said the company will keep building tools that cut the time and effort of running studies, using AI where it adds practical value.
For Kuwaiti companies, the pitch is faster and cheaper access to local consumer data, a task that has often relied on slower, resource-heavy traditional methods. The company says the investment will let it add new capabilities and help businesses turn feedback into decisions.
