KKR, Singtel and the Tatas are preparing to sell STT GDC India, one of the country's major data centre platforms. The move puts a prominent piece of India's digital infrastructure on the block at a time when cloud and AI workloads keep raising demand for server capacity.

The sale preparations involve three heavyweight backers, which suggests the process will draw close attention from infrastructure investors and data centre operators. Further details on timing and valuation were not part of the information available.

Festive micro-occasions lift quick commerce

Elsewhere in India's tech economy, small celebrations are driving large order spikes on quick-commerce apps. For Karva Chauth, Flipkart said mehendi orders surged 16 times, while havan items, kalash and pooja thalis rose fivefold.

For Halloween, Flipkart Minutes recorded a threefold rise in candy orders on October 31. Masks and body art grew sixfold, and children's costumes doubled. On Myntra Now, overall orders rose about 70% on October 29 compared with regular days.

Capillary posts a sharp profit jump

Loyalty software firm Capillary reported net profit of Rs 21.9 crore, against Rs 28.8 lakh a year earlier. Revenue from operations rose 51.3% to Rs 271.4 crore, while adjusted Ebitda climbed 103% year-on-year to Rs 44.9 crore.

The company retained its FY27 guidance of Rs 1,065 crore in revenue and Rs 172 crore in adjusted Ebitda.

Another company reported a net profit of Rs 11.8 crore, compared with a net loss of Rs 28.6 crore a year ago, on revenue up 9% to Rs 1,082.6 crore. It also posted its highest-ever quarterly Ebitda of Rs 22.7 crore, a turnaround from a loss of Rs 6.4 crore.
