StockGro Parent AssetGro Triples FY26 Profit to ₹113 Crore Before IPO
AssetGro Fintech, the parent of StockGro, reported a 226.6% jump in FY26 net profit to ₹113 crore as operating revenue doubled to ₹226.1 crore ahead of its IPO.

AssetGro Fintech, the company behind the investing platform StockGro, more than tripled its net profit in the financial year 2025-26 while its operating revenue doubled, according to its consolidated financial statements.
Net profit rose 226.6% to ₹113 crore from ₹34.6 crore in FY25. Operating revenue reached ₹226.1 crore, against ₹113.3 crore a year earlier. Including ₹4.8 crore of other income, total income stood at ₹230.9 crore, up from ₹125.5 crore. EBITDA came in at roughly ₹118.7 crore, about 99.3% higher than the ₹59.5 crore recorded previously.
The headline profit figure is flattered by tax. Profit before tax was ₹99 crore, up from ₹35.9 crore, but the company booked a net tax credit of ₹14 crore, made up of a ₹15.9 crore deferred tax credit and a ₹1.9 crore current tax expense. That lifted profit after tax to ₹113 crore. Almost all operating revenue, 99.9%, comes from subscription fees, with the remainder from service fees.
Costs and IPO plans
Total expenses grew 47.3% to ₹132 crore from ₹89.6 crore. Employee benefit expenses were the largest item at ₹65.8 crore, up 96.3% and roughly half of all costs. Technology charges rose 34.6% to ₹17.9 crore, and media and advertising spending climbed 61.1% to ₹23.2 crore.
The company confidentially filed its draft red herring prospectus with SEBI in September. It is reportedly looking to raise ₹2,000-2,500 crore, potentially through a fresh issue of about ₹800 crore plus an offer for sale by existing shareholders. It also recently raised ₹110 crore (about $10.4 million) in its ongoing Series B round from BITKRAFT Ventures, Aditum Venture Capital Fund, India SME Growth Fund and actor Suniel Shetty.
Why it matters
StockGro, incorporated in 2020, combines market research with a social layer and offers trade ideas from SEBI-registered analysts, plus an AI research assistant called Stoxo. The company points to India's retail investing boom, with 13.66 crore unique NSE-registered investors as of September, as room to grow its user base and convert more existing users to paid plans.
