Saudi proptech Ghanem adds $1.5M to pre-seed, total hits $8.6M
Ghanem, a Saudi fractional real estate platform founded in 2025, has closed a $1.5 million pre-seed extension, lifting the round to $8.6 million.

Saudi proptech startup Ghanem has raised an additional $1.5 million in a pre-seed extension, bringing the total round to $8.6 million. Real estate companies and a group of strategic angel investors took part in the extension.
The earlier $7.1 million tranche included Al-Romaih Group, and Waad VC has also invested in the company. Founded in 2025 by Saleh Waheed Al-Ghamdi and Amr Essam, Ghanem lets individuals and institutions buy fractional stakes in income-generating Saudi properties, with minimum investments starting at SAR 1,000 depending on the opportunity.
Milestones behind the round
According to the company, it has executed several real estate investment transactions and has a registered user base in the thousands. It has also begun distributing rental income to investors without payment disruptions. Ghanem issued digital ownership deeds to 580 people who took part in the first income-generating property offered through its app.
Ghanem has also signed and activated a digital integration with the Real Estate Registry (RER). This allows fractional ownership interests to be registered and deeds issued in investors' names within one digital flow.
The startup joined the regulatory sandbox of Saudi Arabia's Real Estate General Authority (REGA) several months ago and launched its fractional ownership product there, so the model can be tested under regulatory supervision.
Use of funds
The new capital will go toward product development, a wider range of property opportunities and strategic partnerships. Properties are verified, put through due diligence and valued by accredited valuers before listing, and all products have been approved as Sharia-compliant by the company's Sharia committee.
"This pre-seed extension provides important support for the next stage of our journey," said CEO and co-founder Saleh Waheed Al-Ghamdi, adding that the company will keep developing its solutions within the REGA sandbox.
