Bengaluru-based wealthtech startup PowerUp Money has raised $10 million (about ₹95 crore) in a round led by Flourish Ventures. Existing investors Peak XV Partners, Accel, Blume Ventures, Kae Capital, 8i Ventures and DeVC also participated.

The company plans to use the money to expand its AI-led wealth management offerings, scale its managed advisory business and build personalised financial planning tools for Indian investors. It wants to move beyond mutual fund advisory and become a full-stack financial planning platform.

"AI makes it possible to deliver a much more comprehensive, wealth-manager-like experience digitally and at a fraction of traditional costs," founder and CEO Prateek Jindal said. He added that a significant portion of the investment will go towards an AI-powered wealth manager offering personalised planning and ongoing portfolio guidance.

Traction and new products

Jindal, who also cofounded fintech company Uni Cards, launched PowerUp in 2025 to help people manage mutual fund portfolios. The company says it has more than 15 lakh customers tracking mutual fund portfolios worth over ₹2.5 lakh crore on its platform. Its PowerUp Elite advisory subscription has more than 1 lakh paid members.

The first step in the new strategy is Elite Prime, an end-to-end digital wealth advisory service. It includes an AI wealth coach and personal assistant that factors in a user's financial goals, risk profile and existing holdings to help manage portfolios and support investment decisions.

PowerUp also wants to bring its managed offering, Infinite, to a wider customer base. Infinite is aimed at investors who want more hands-on support and combines financial planning, portfolio construction, multi-asset allocation, goal-based strategies, ongoing portfolio management and a dedicated adviser. The company says Infinite has reached nearly ₹500 crore in assets under management roughly nine months after launch.

The round signals continued investor interest in AI-assisted advice for Indian retail savers, a segment traditionally served by human wealth managers at higher cost.
