Syrian Foodtech Percent Labs Closes Seed Round at $1M+ Valuation
Percent Labs, a Syria-based cloud kitchen startup, has closed an undisclosed seed round at a valuation above $1 million, backed by Syrian angel investors abroad.

Percent Labs, a foodtech startup based in Syria, has closed a seed funding round that values the company at more than $1 million. The amount raised was not disclosed. The round was backed by Syrian angel investors living abroad.
Founded in 2025 by Khaled Al Hosini, Soubhi Bakri and Jawad Shebli, the company develops and runs several delivery-focused food brands from one shared cloud kitchen infrastructure. It combines product development, marketing and centralised kitchen operations under one roof.
Growth target: 40,000 orders a month
Percent Labs says it currently handles more than 10,000 orders per month. With the new capital, it aims to pass 40,000 monthly orders within 18 months, roughly four times today's volume. The plan rests on more production capacity, growth of existing brands and the launch of new food concepts.
The funds will also go toward operational expansion, new food products and additional delivery brands, as well as upgrades to the company's operational infrastructure.
Why the model matters
Instead of opening a separate restaurant for each concept, Percent Labs lets several food businesses share production facilities and operations. According to the company, this lowers operating costs and allows it to widen its portfolio without the capital expenditure of new physical venues. It also uses artificial intelligence to analyse operational data, support decisions and improve efficiency across its brands.
The round is small in absolute terms, but it shows that diaspora angel capital is starting to back early-stage consumer startups inside Syria. For a company roughly 14 months old, the test now is whether the shared-kitchen economics hold as order volume quadruples in Syria's restaurant and food delivery market.
