PB Fintech Q2 FY27 Profit Rises 43% to Rs 192 Crore
PB Fintech, parent of Policybazaar and Paisabazaar, grew Q2 FY27 revenue 35% to Rs 2,178 crore, with net profit up 43% to Rs 192 crore.
PB Fintech, the parent company of Policybazaar and Paisabazaar, reported a 43% year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 192 crore for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, alongside strong revenue growth.
Revenue growth
According to its consolidated financial statements filed with the stock exchanges, revenue from operations grew 35% to Rs 2,178 crore in Q2 FY27, up from Rs 1,614 crore in the same quarter a year earlier.
Insurance broker services remained the main driver. The segment contributed Rs 2,015.19 crore to revenue, an increase of 41.1% year on year. That means the insurance distribution business accounts for the large majority of the group's top line.
Why it matters
The results show that PB Fintech is growing profit faster than revenue, a sign that the platform is gaining operating leverage as it scales. For investors and the wider Indian fintech sector, the numbers point to continued consumer demand for buying insurance online through digital marketplaces.
The filing gives no further detail on other segments in the material available, so the performance of the credit business under Paisabazaar is not broken out here.
