Marble Cognition raises €3.35M for AI coworkers in Munich

Munich startup Marble Cognition has closed a €3.35 million pre-Seed round led by Heartcore and Seedcamp to build AI coworkers that learn how work gets done.

Munich-based startup Marble Cognition, known as Marble, has raised €3.35 million (about $3.75 million) in a pre-Seed round. Heartcore and Seedcamp co-led the financing.

The company is building AI coworkers that first understand how work is actually executed inside an organisation, and then use that knowledge to optimise and automate business operations. The approach puts process understanding ahead of automation, rather than automating tasks without knowing how they run in practice.

Who is backing Marble

Besides the two lead investors, the round includes angel investors. Among them are a board member of Datadog, a founder of Personio and several executives, according to the announcement.

Why it matters

Many companies struggle to automate work because real processes differ from documented ones. An AI system that learns how teams actually operate before taking over tasks could reduce that gap, which is the bet Marble is making. Early-stage backing from well-known European funds and operators from established software companies suggests investors see potential in this process-first model.

Further details, such as product availability, customers or how the new funding will be allocated, were not part of the information provided. The pre-Seed capital is typically used to build out the product and the founding team, but Marble has not detailed its plans in the material available.
