FCCL's Flag-Style FMV Display V Monitor Saves Desk Space
FCCL's new FMV Display V V2403 models hang a 23.8-inch panel from a single steel pole clamped to the desk, freeing room below for a laptop.

Fujitsu Client Computing (FCCL) has introduced an unusual take on the desktop monitor: the FMV Display V V2403(CF) and V2403(F), which the company calls a "flag style" design. Instead of a stand with feet that stretch forward and back, each monitor uses a single support pole attached to a desk clamp, with the 23.8-inch panel extending sideways from it like a flag.
It is not as flush as a wall mount, but it cuts dead space to a minimum. Because the area beneath the panel is open, a laptop can be placed so that it overlaps the display's footprint, which is handy on a small desk.
Magnetic steel pole
The pole is made of steel, so magnets stick to it. That lets users add magnetic smartphone holders, headphone hooks and similar accessories without extra hardware.
Panel and specs
The display uses an LED-backlit, non-glare panel with Full HD resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. That should be enough for office work, creative tasks and casual gaming.
Pricing and models
Buyers should note that standard stand versions of the V series also exist, so the flag design requires choosing the right model. The V2403(CF) offers USB-C and two HDMI inputs and costs 35,090 yen. The V2403(F) offers two HDMI inputs and a VGA input and costs 30,030 yen.
While most recent monitor news has focused on higher refresh rates for gaming, this design targets a different problem: how much desk a display takes up. For people working with a laptop alongside an external screen, the layout could be a practical alternative to conventional stands.
