CrowdStrike to Buy Fiddler AI and Dreadnode for $495 Million
CrowdStrike plans to acquire AI startups Fiddler AI and Dreadnode for $495 million, folding Fiddler's software into its Falcon platform as Falcon Observe.

CrowdStrike has agreed to acquire two AI companies, Fiddler AI and Dreadnode, in a deal valued at $495 million.
As part of the transaction, Fiddler's software will be integrated into CrowdStrike's Falcon platform and offered under the name Falcon Observe. The move extends the cybersecurity group's flagship platform with technology from a company focused on AI.
What it means
The deal shows how established security vendors are buying specialist AI startups rather than building every capability in-house. For CrowdStrike customers, Falcon Observe would arrive as part of the platform they already use, instead of a separate product from an outside vendor.
The announcement gives no further detail on how the price splits between the two companies, on timing for closing, or on what Dreadnode's technology will become inside CrowdStrike. Those points have not been confirmed.
