Changan UNI-Z crossover to debut in Russia on 5 November
Changan will hold the Russian premiere of its UNI-Z crossover on 5 November 2026. Pricing and trim levels have not been announced yet.

Chinese carmaker Changan will present its new UNI-Z crossover in Russia on 5 November 2026, the company's press office has said. Prices and trim levels have not yet been disclosed.
Powertrain
The UNI-Z is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the BlueCore family, producing 147 horsepower. It is paired with a 7-speed robotised (dual-clutch style) automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive.
Changan highlights the engine family's endurance record: in 2020, an engine from this line ran at high revs for almost 11 days, and the livestreamed test entered the Guinness World Records as the longest of its kind.
Equipment and protection
Selected body elements of the UNI-Z are galvanised to protect against corrosion. Even the base version includes a heated steering wheel, heated windscreen and heated seats, features that matter in Russian winters.
Depending on the trim, buyers can also choose a panoramic roof, ventilated front seats, an eight-speaker Sony audio system and wireless phone charging.
The key open questions are price and the exact lineup. Those details are expected to become clear after the premiere on 5 November, which will show how the UNI-Z is positioned against rivals in the compact crossover segment.
