Casio CRW-002 Ring Watch Shrinks the Cheap Casio A168 Design
Casio will launch two CRW-002 ring watches in November that recreate the classic A168 'Cheap Casio' in finger-sized form, priced at 19,800 and 22,000 yen.

Casio will release two new models of its CASIO RING WATCH in November, recreating the look and functions of the long-running A168 digital watch at ring size. The CRW-002 comes in silver (CRW-002D-1AJR) at 19,800 yen and gold (CRW-002G-9AJR) at 22,000 yen.
The series is a variation on the full-metal CRW-001, which went on sale in December 2024. The A168, widely known as a "Cheap Casio", serves as the model, and the company has reproduced details from the function labels on the dial to the shape and finish of the band. The band has a matte finish, giving it a different texture from the case.
Specifications
The battery-powered quartz watch uses module No. 3595 with an accuracy of ±30 seconds per month and everyday water resistance. Features include dual time, a stopwatch (1/100 second, 60 minutes), a time flashing light (alarm), an auto calendar (February 28-day system), switchable 12/24-hour display and a white LED backlight.
Battery life is two years, and the battery can be replaced through Casio's repair service.
Size and fit
The ring is size 22 in Japanese sizing, with an inner diameter of 20 mm. Spacers are included for size 19 (19 mm inner diameter) and size 16 (18 mm). The body measures 25.2 x 18.2 x 6.2 mm and weighs 15 g.
The launch extends Casio's ring watch line beyond its first model, tying it to one of the company's best-known everyday designs. At around 20,000 yen, it is aimed at fans of the original rather than at buyers looking for a basic timepiece.
