Deeptech robotics startup Armatrix has raised Rs 67.28 crore in a seed funding round led by UK-based Crane Venture Partners. New and existing investors also took part in the round.
The financing comes less than a year after the company's pre-seed round and values Armatrix at nearly five times its previous valuation, a premium of about 4.8X.
Quick step up from pre-seed
In January 2026, Armatrix raised $2.1 million in a pre-seed round led by pi Ventures. Inuka Capital, Boundless Ventures, Boost VC, Turbostart and gradCapital participated in that round.
Regulatory filings show the company has allotted 4,070 compulsorily convertible securities as part of the new round. Further details of the allotment were not available.
Why it matters
A jump in valuation of this size within a year points to strong investor appetite for Indian deeptech and robotics companies, even at an early stage. For Armatrix, the fresh capital gives room to build on the progress made since its pre-seed funding.
The participation of a UK-based lead investor alongside existing backers also signals growing international interest in the company.
