THEZZLE Opens Beta of Commission Platform That Bans AI Art
XO Communications, a KX Innovation subsidiary, has launched the web beta of THEZZLE, a commission marketplace that allows only human-made work and screens out AI images.

XO Communications, a subsidiary of KX Innovation, has opened the web beta of THEZZLE, a commission marketplace that connects creators and fans. Its central rule: AI-generated images cannot be listed, and only work that people draw, write or make themselves can be traded.
A commission is a custom job in which a fan or client asks a creator for a specific piece, such as an illustration, a text or merchandise, and pays for it. THEZZLE brokers peer-to-peer commissions in illustration, writing, handcrafts, design and sound. It also covers business-oriented outsourcing, including Live2D character modeling for virtual streamers and character design or art assets for indie game studios.
An "anti-AI" stance
As generative AI has made images easy to produce, buyers in the commission market increasingly doubt whether a paid work was really made by a person. THEZZLE says it responds with a detection system that screens for AI-generated images and a certification scheme confirming that no AI was used, so that only human-made work circulates.
Shared commissions and translated chat
The platform also introduces "shared commissions." If the creator and the original client agree, several fans can split the cost and jointly own the same work. According to the company, this lowers the cost for each buyer while letting creators earn more from a single piece of work. The one-on-one chat between creator and client offers real-time read receipts and automatic translation into foreign languages.
Founding creators in illustration, fan art and derivative works joined the beta. Illustrator Nanagom, a character IP creator and CCO of Panella, and Dongdong, known for the character Bolppangppang Jjiba in webtoons and emoticons, serve as official ambassadors.
"Creation is an irreplaceable value that only humans can hold, even in the AI era," said Kim Eun-kyung, CEO of XO Communications. She said the company wants to build a stage where anyone can show their talent and grow from hobbyist into professional creator.
