MeowFactory Cat Factory Sim Gets Nov. 27 PC Release Date
Smola Games, the studio behind Rusichi vs. Lizards, will launch its cat-run factory simulator MeowFactory on PC on 27 November 2026, with a new gameplay trailer.

MeowFactory, a production simulator in which cats do the factory work, will launch on 27 November 2026. Russian studio Smola Games, also known as the Bratans, says the game will be available exclusively on PC through Steam and VK Play. The announcement came with a new gameplay overview trailer.
The studio previously made the pseudo-historical action duology about Rusichi fighting lizards. MeowFactory was first revealed in winter and has been in development through the rest of 2026. According to Smola Games, the release plans have not changed in the eight months since the official announcement.
Final stretch of development
The team says it is making final fixes, while Steam staff are already checking the game for functionality, stability and whether it matches its store page description.
Premise and features
In the story, a nuclear and climate catastrophe leads humanity to hand control of the planet to an AI, and people are then threatened with extinction by famine. Salvation comes from "murzavods", factories staffed by ordinary cats.
Players must keep an eye on the mood of the cats. If they are unhappy, they will blow up, drown in mud or burn everything that has been built. The cats behave like cats: they play with boxes, eat straight from the conveyor and fight each other.
The developers promise a blend of Factorio, Overcooked and The Sims. The game includes an 18-level campaign, a free mode, more than 15 cat breeds, automation of "paw labor", storytelling through an in-game radio and full Russian-language support.
With the date fixed less than a month away, the game will soon show whether its mix of factory logistics and feline chaos works in practice.
