Docomo SMTB Net Bank Tests NEOBANK ai BIZ AI Agent for Firms
Docomo SMTB Net Bank has started a beta test of NEOBANK ai BIZ, an AI agent in its business app that helps with transfers and cash-flow planning.

Docomo SMTB Net Bank has begun beta testing NEOBANK ai BIZ, an AI agent built into its corporate banking app. The test is open to selected business customers invited by the bank, who can apply from the bottom of the app's home screen.
The service uses generative AI to understand what a user wants and then surfaces the information and screens needed for the banking task. Users can type or speak a request, which saves them from hunting through the app's menus.
Transfers with a human in the final step
For payments, a user can say something like "I want to send 10,000 yen to a supplier", and the AI checks the recipient and amount while guiding the process. Several recipients can be specified at once, and users can also upload an image such as an invoice to convey the payment details. The final transaction is always carried out by the user after reviewing the content.
Cash-flow support and a loan pointer
The agent also analyzes recent deposit and withdrawal records to track money flows and balance trends. If it predicts a future shortfall, it points the user to the bank's business loan product, Jigyosei Yushi dayta. The bank stresses that the AI does not conduct loan screening or make lending decisions. Borrowing still requires the standard procedures and review.
Other features include category-based views of account and debit card statements, comparisons with past usage, guidance on tasks such as confirming incoming payments and changing registered details, and help automating recurring transfers.
The bank plans to use feedback gathered during the beta to improve functions and service quality ahead of a full launch. No release date has been given.
