CaoCao connects to China Mobile's Lingxi for AI ride-hailing
CaoCao says it has connected to China Mobile's Lingxi system via the A2A protocol, and plans to extend its ride-hailing services to more China Mobile channels.

Ride-hailing company CaoCao has connected its services to China Mobile's Lingxi system, bringing AI-driven ride booking to the telecom operator's platform. According to CaoCao, the integration runs through the A2A protocol, a standard designed to let AI agents communicate with one another.
What has been announced
CaoCao said the link with Lingxi is live and that it intends to expand to additional China Mobile channels. The company did not provide further details in the material available, such as launch cities, pricing or user numbers.
The use of A2A suggests that Lingxi can hand ride requests to CaoCao's service through an agent-to-agent connection rather than a custom, one-off integration. That approach is intended to make it easier for different AI systems and service providers to work together.
Why it matters
For China Mobile, the deal adds a practical everyday service to its AI offering. For CaoCao, it opens a new route to reach users inside a channel operated by one of the country's largest telecom carriers, beyond its own app.
The move also reflects a broader trend in which AI assistants act as a front door to services such as transport, instead of users opening separate apps. Protocols like A2A are meant to make that kind of connection repeatable across partners.
CaoCao says it plans to bring the service to more China Mobile channels. Details on timing and which channels will be next have not been disclosed.
