ABA Life Secures $40 Million From Admaius Capital Partners
Moroccan healthtech ABA Life has signed a $40 million investment deal with pan-African private equity firm Admaius Capital Partners to scale its AI health platform.

Moroccan healthtech company ABA Life has signed a $40 million investment agreement with pan-African private equity firm Admaius Capital Partners. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions and clearance from Morocco's Competition Council.
Founded in 2021, ABA Life is the healthcare arm of ABA Technology, which was founded and is chaired by Mohamed Benouda. The company develops and operates healthcare solutions that combine artificial intelligence, medical technology, telemedicine, connected healthcare infrastructure and clinical services.
Three priorities for the new funding
The money will fuel what ABA Life calls a new growth phase. The first priority is the "AI for Sovereign Health" programme, built around the Mediot AI platform and clinical intelligence solutions. The second is industrialising and deploying the group's healthcare technologies and services at scale. The third is expansion into international markets.
ABA Life says it has already built an integrated and profitable business model. It delivers large-scale healthcare programmes in partnership with public institutions and foundations, with the aim of widening access to medical services.
Ambition to become a Moroccan unicorn
The company says it wants to create a next-generation healthtech platform that blends AI, medical innovation and operational excellence, and to become one of Morocco's next technology unicorns.
"In five years, we have shown that a profitable healthcare technology model, able to deploy at scale, can be built from Morocco," said Benouda. He described the funding as the start of a phase of acceleration and internationalisation.
Selim Ettriqui, Head of Morocco and West Africa at Admaius, said the firm was impressed by an integrated operator that combines medical devices, connected infrastructure, care operations and proprietary technology developed in Morocco. Marlon Chigwende, Managing Partner at Admaius, cited the team, the proven model, the technology base and the potential to scale.
The transaction will only complete once the Competition Council has given its clearance.
