KuCoin Ends Services for Users in Russia and Belarus
Crypto exchange KuCoin has announced it is halting services for users in Russia and Belarus with immediate effect, following similar moves by MEXC and Bitget.

Crypto exchange KuCoin has announced that it is discontinuing services for users in Russia and Belarus. According to the platform's notice, the decision takes effect "immediately".
Affected users will receive a notification with deadlines and instructions for closing their positions. Those who do not get a notification do not need to take any action.
One of the largest exchanges
KuCoin ranks eighth among crypto exchanges on Coinmarketcap, with daily trading volume of around $1.2 billion. The aggregator orders exchanges by traffic, liquidity, trading volume and other metrics. By its own figures, KuCoin has 45 million users.
Third exchange to step back this month
The move follows similar decisions by other major platforms. In October 2026, the exchange Bitget added Russia and Belarus to its list of countries where use of the service is prohibited. MEXC later announced that it would also stop serving users in both countries.
For traders in the region, the string of exits narrows the choice of large international venues. Users who hold open positions on KuCoin should watch for the platform's notification and follow the stated timeline and instructions to close them.
The exchange has not, in the material available, detailed the reasons behind the decision or described what alternatives affected users might turn to. The timelines for closing positions will be set individually in the notifications sent to those affected.
