Localization studio GamesVoice has released a Russian-dubbed version of the third GTA VI trailer, but a full dub of the game remains only a vague "someday" prospect.

The localization studio GamesVoice has released a Russian-dubbed version of the third GTA VI trailer, which premiered worldwide a few weeks ago. The video, featuring the lead characters' lines in Russian, was shown during VoiceCon 2026, a themed broadcast devoted to the team's current projects.

At the end of the dubbed clip, GamesVoice representatives signaled that a full Russian voice-over for the game may appear, but only "someday later." In any case, the topic will not become relevant before the action game arrives on PC.

Costs of earlier dubbing projects

The studio's earlier fundraising gives a sense of the scale involved. A dub of Grand Theft Auto V could require 20 million rubles; at least, a placeholder icon for such a project is still displayed on the official GamesVoice website. For the classic GTA: San Andreas, the target was set far lower, at 1.2 million rubles, and that amount has already been collected.

Release details

GTA VI goes on sale on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, at a price of $80 to $100. According to the latest rumors, the PC version could arrive as early as the first quarter of 2027.

For Russian-speaking players, the trailer dub is a fan-made preview rather than an official localization. Since a PC release is not expected immediately, any decision on a full dub is likely to wait, and GamesVoice has not announced a timeline or a fundraising campaign for it.
