Beget Hosting Suffers Major Outage, Sites and VPS Go Down

Russian hosting provider Beget suffered a large-scale failure of its IT infrastructure on 2 November 2026. Customers report that websites hosted with the company are unavailable, and that neither the hosting control panel nor the personal account area will open.

Users are seeing connection errors, including 502 Bad Gateway. Reports also point to serious network problems and trouble reaching virtual private servers (VPS). Mail servers using SMTP are working intermittently, and DNS is failing as well, which makes sites and services tied to Beget-hosted domains hard to reach.

Beget has acknowledged the problem, describing it as a major incident. According to the company, all available resources have been mobilised: engineers are working to establish the cause while recovery work continues in parallel. Its statement says the team is doing everything possible to restore stability.
